　　Walsh is currently seeking a CAD Technician for our Midwest Heavy Civil Division in Chicago, IL.

　　The CAD Technician will assist and support the Construction Technology division with daily coordination derived from contract plans & documents, to field production operations.

　　Responsibilities

　　In this role, responsibilities include;

　　Assisting and supporting the Midwest Heavy Highway division with Planning and Analysis

　　Maintenance of project CAD models for Automated Machine Control

　　Managing of project virtual data

　　Project estimating requests for CAD exhibits

　　Coordination of Subcontracting designs

　　Document control (RFIs, submittals, change orders, claims, etc.)

　　Qualifications

　　We are seeking entry-level candidates with the following qualifications:

　　Degrees in Civil Engineering or Construction Management are desirable

　　Knowledge of general construction practices and procedures

　　Experience with virtual models and software.

　　Experience with Autodesk Civil 3d, Trimble Business Center, or Microstation

　　Experience in roadway/bridge construction and modelling

　　Excellent oral and written communication

　　Ability to prioritize and manage time

　　Self-motivated individual with strong follow up skills

　　Ability to establish relationships
