　　PURPOSE

　　Maintains, tests, and repairs electrical/electronic, environmental, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems and components. Applies knowledge of electrical/electronics and mechanical principles in determining equipment malfunctions and applies skills in restoring equipment to operation and new installations. Provides skilled mechanical and electrical/electronic support to all areas of the plant.

　　KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

　　Demonstrates a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to safety policies in all work environments and areas.

　　Practice and promote safety in such way as including but not limited to; assessing risks before starting tasks, only performing authorized activities, utilizing appropriate PPE.

　　Exercise and encourage core values including but not limited to; developing self and coaching others by inspiration and empowerment

　　Solid individual safety track record

　　Demonstrated knowledge and skill set of the industrial electrical field including, but not limited to: understanding of electrical units of measure, AC/DC voltage characteristics, understanding of basic circuits.

　　Proven effective verbal and written communication skills

　　Understanding of hand tool usage & safety

　　Able to procure required tools for the position within three months of job transfer

　　Must be able to successfully pass the prerequisite electrical examination

　　Demonstrated leadership and self direction, motivation and able to work independently or with a team

　　Willing to work weekends, night shifts, and call-outs, as needed

　　KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

　　Required Education: High School diploma/GED

　　Additional Education Preferred: Journeyman License

　　Field of Study Preferred: Electrical Technology, Industrial electrician

　　Travel Requirements : Some local travel
