About Market Clerk (Full-Time)

  JOB FUNCTION:

  As a Market Clerk, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality meat products to our customers and ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our market department. Your expertise in meat cutting and product knowledge will contribute to our reputation for delivering top-notch quality meats and exceptional service.

  RESPONSIBILITIES:

  Provide outstanding customer serviceClean equipment and sanitize dailyMeat preparationsCut meatRecord and report accurate inventory countsAssist all customers in their shoppingFill meat caseMaintain digital logsOther duties as assignedBASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

  Must be at least 18 years old or olderMust be able to work Saturdays and some eveningsAbility to work in a fast paced environmentAbility to work with othersGood interpersonal skillsGood verbal communication skillsBasic math skills are requiredPrevious experience is helpful but not requiredPHYSICAL DEMANDS:

  On feet up to 8+ hours per dayRepetitive lifting, reaching, grasping, bending, pushing, pulling, twisting, squattingFrequently lift 0-20 pounds and occasionally lift up to 50 poundsTYPICAL EQUIPMENT USED:

  Grinders, slicers, knives, tenderizer, cooking equipment, scalesBox Bailor, stock carts, manual pallet moverWORK ENVIRONMENT:
