Kelly Science & Clinical has a new, temporary-to-hire opportunity for a Chemical Batch Operator in Plainfield, IN!

　　D ay to Day Responsibilities:

　　Batch new products as well as modifications to improve existing formulations.

　　Operate laboratory equipment to perform physical property testing on manufactured liquid products batch adjustments.

　　Verify Manufacturing set-ups and Production bottling line set-ups as required.

　　Carry out product application testing as required to ensure consistent performance of existing products and to assist in the evaluation of prototype formulations.

　　Maintain retain samples.

　　Assist with the disposition of off-spec products, raw materials, chemicals and excess inventory.

　　Become knowledgeable with the hazards associated with the chemicals used, follow safety policy and wear appropriate PPE.

　　Work in conjunction with other departments as needed

　　Must be able to read and convert measurements

　　Candidates will be working with high-speed electric mixers, material transfer pumps, tow motors, electronic scales and other equipment and tools. Review and assist with record keeping and documentation

　　Qualifications:

　　High School Diploma

　　Strong PC skills (MS Office: Word, Excel, Outlook)

　　ISO experience desirable

　　1-3 plus years of experience

　　Experience testing consumer cleaning products desirable

　　Strong organizational skills with attention to detail

　　Ability to solve problems

　　Must work well in a team environment

　　Must possess good interpersonal skills
