JOB REQUIREMENTS: Overview: The Business Office Receptionist positionprovides data entry to the business office and provides an importantfirst impression of the radio ministry to the public by answeringphones, greeting station guests and giving tours, answering listenere-mails, coordinating volunteers, assisting with confidential donorrecords and more.This position is to help fulfill The Family\'s missionby helping all people in our listening areas draw closer to Christ andthrough our mission in broadcasting the hope of Jesus Christ tostrengthen and encourage listeners. Is expected tobe actively involved in a local church. Primary Responsibilities: Answerand direct incoming calls. Greet and serve visitors. Receive prayerrequests and pray with listeners, as needed. Enter and maintain donorrecords, ensure accurate data entry, merge and mail thank you lettersand other donor communications, monthly and year end responsibilities.Assist with donor follow up in regard to electronic giving, as needed.Handle administrative tasks such as scanning, copying, filing,organizing, mailing, generating reports, setting up meetings and variouswebsite functions. Process volunteer applications and welcomeprocedures. Receive, sort, and distribute incoming mail to team members.Processing and mailing outgoing packages. Type up staff meeting agenda,write minutes and distribute to all team members. Crosstrain for depositbackup and other areas, as needed. Assist Help for the HomelessCoordinator with various tasks. Design on-line forms, as needed. Proofreading. Assist in organizing luncheons and events. Organize officesupplies, various print materials, etc. Assist with station fundraisers.Attend community engagement events, as needed. All other duties asassigned. Requirements: Has a personal relationship with Jesus Christ;is spiritually grounded and knowledgeable of the Bible. Maintainconfidentiality in all aspects of listener, client, staff, and ministryinformation. Computer proficiency and working knowledge of MicrosoftOffice Suite with emphasis in Word & Excel. Strong attention to detailto maintain correct and accurate information and able to troubleshooterrors and issues. Strong verbal and written communication skills andinterpersonal people skills. Time management skills, self-starter, andability to multi-task. Strong organization and planning skills.Passionate about the station, the vision and mission of The Family.Emotionally intelligent and can interact with others well to maintainand grow co-worker, donor, and listeners relationships. Highly motivatedteam player capable of working effectively under pressure, who listenswell, and who is not afraid to ask for help. Ability to workindependently and be self-motivated.
