Job Summary This position is part of the ElectricDistribution Planning team. The Electric Distribution Planning Engineeris responsible for electric distribution system load forecasting,capacity planning, project development, work plan prioritization, andlifecycle asset replacement programs that ensure safe, reliable,cost-effective, and responsive delivery of electric service tocustomers. Job Responsibilities The Electric Distribution PlanningEngineer is expected to apply sound and diversified knowledge of powerdistribution engineering principles and practices as well as makeindependent decisions concerning an assigned planning area. The PlanningEngineer works closely with Electric Operations supervisors anddesigners, Area reliability and customer service managers, SystemOperations Center supervisors and dispatch personnel, substationconstruction and maintenance supervisors, and field construction workgroups. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor\'s Degree in ElectricalEngineering Valid driver\'s license Relevant engineering experiencePreferred Qualifications Strong understanding of the design and functionof the electric distribution system and power distribution equipment.Professional engineering license in the state of Wisconsin.
