Description:
The primary duties of the Electrical Designer are to provide the electrical design on product improvements for electrical infrastructure of PowerBlock and Switchgear product lines manufactured. These design activities are to provide assurance that our equipment is being built and/or applied per engineering documents, manufacturing and other required standards, such as UL and NEC. The main goal is the safety, quality, functionality, and overall conformity of our products. This position occasionally directed in several aspects of the work.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:
• Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineer
• 2-4 years of related work experience.
• Ability to read and interpret documents to include work instructions, written directions, and markups to electrical drawings.
• Strong analytical, communication and organizational skills with a desire for continuous improvement.
• Be detail-oriented and accurate and have a positive can-do attitude.
• Have strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills, including collaborating with other teams.
• Occasionally required to inspect products in-progress in manufacturing.
• Occasionally assist in moving materials and equipment that weigh 40 lbs.
• Proficient AutoCAD Electrical.
