Kforce has a client seeking a fully remote Site Reliability Engineer who is good in managing large critical database platforms Cassandra and Elasticsearch on Onprem and Google cloud. The platform supports high volume applications in a microservice architecture running on hybrid mode (onprem cloud) in fully Active/Active mode and it is supported by a very large multi-datacenter Cassandra infrastructure for persistence, and Elasticsearch for indexing and scaling search experience. The Site Reliability Engineer will be working with a team of passionate engineers responsible for automation, scaling, tuning, and troubleshooting of Cassandra and Elasticsearch databases. They will also collaborate and work with a diverse group of engineers to design and deliver solutions. The Site Reliability Engineer will also be responsible for managing the full cloud environment and using ansible, terraform and Kubernetes.

　　1-1.5 years of SRE/Devops experience (open to 1-7)

　　Heavy Automation experience (Python, etc.)

　　Experience with Ansible, Puppet, Chef, etc.

　　Kubernetes experience

　　Terraform experience

　　The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
