The Electrical Designer will produce electrical designs of assigned projects and ensure that goals and objectives are accomplished within the prescribed time frame and funding parameters by performing the following duties:

　　Using CAD software, will create project initial electrical drawing packages and review for accuracy.

　　Compose electrical bill of materials.

　　Create wiring diagrams, schematics, and equipment schedules.

　　Calculate conduit and wire fill parameters within NEC requirements.

　　Develop electrical equipment layout and elevation drawings.

　　Coordinate with other functional teams during the life cycle of the product and be responsible for design modifications as required.

　　Requirements

　　Electrical Designer, Electrical Engineer or Journeyman/Master Electrician with experience in the Commercial/Industrial field with 3-5 years of experience.

　　Experience with designing electrical distribution, controls or automation.

　　Must have circuit design.

　　Understanding of the National Electric Code (NEC)

　　Do you have 5 years of Solidworks Electrical or AutoCAD Electrical experience?

　　Proficiency in Microsoft Office products required.

　　Excellent verbal and written communication skills including ability to interface at all levels.

　　Organized, focused, and results-oriented with the ability to work on multiple parallel projects.

　　Will need to come on-site for 50% of the time for the first 2-4 months for training.

　　Would come on-site a few times a year for meetings and/or events.
