Due to continuedgrowth, we have an opportunity for a Supplier Quality Engineer to joinour teamlocated at our Racine, WI manufacturing facility. The SupplierQuality Engineer is responsible for assessing, qualifying, anddeveloping suppliers and manufacturing services providers. Reporting tothe Quality Manager, this position will monitor supplier performance,evaluate and audit suppliers\' systems, processes, standards, products,components, and applications against technical, quality and EHSrequirements. The Supplier Quality Engineer will be responsible formanaging the supplier corrective action process to drive improvement insupplier quality performance. To perform this job successfully, anindividual must be able to perform each essential job functionsatisfactorily. Degree inMechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering or related field ispreferred. 5+ Years\' experience working in manufacturing engineering,quality engineering and/or quality management roles in an ISO 9001certified or similar quality system environment. Experience with one ormore of the following processes: Machining, Casting, Forging, HeatTreat, and/or Gears. Experience working directly with suppliers ispreferred. Experience auditing processes and/or quality systems ispreferred. Computer Skills: Experience using ERP systems. Proficiencywith Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint Communication Skills: Strongwritten and verbal communication skills at all levels of theorganization. Ability to develop strong working relationships withexternal suppliers. Able to hold suppliers accountable to meet Twin Discquality requirements. Ability to effectively communicate our standardsto existing and potential suppliers.
