Basic Job Functions:

Seeking a creative, forward-thinking, process-minded effective communicator to join our team. The EHS Supervisor will include but are not limited to:

The EHS Supervisor will lead and coordinate the Environmental, Health and Safety programs for NTSpa.

This includes taking a lead role in plant-wide culture building, environmental and safety management, training, audits and community outreach.

This position is responsible for interacting with all teammates to ensure understanding of and compliance with federal, state and local environmental and safety regulations.

This position develops and provides applicable training to ensure compliance with key regulatory requirements, participates in corporate environmental and safety initiatives and is responsible for water treatment operations.

Minimum Qualifications:

Minimum of a High school diploma/GED

Must have at least 5 years of experience in a Safety and/or Environmental position

Must have at least 2 years of operations experience

Effective communication, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills

Commitment to safety, actively involved in their divisions safety initiatives

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelors Degree from an accredited university in safety or environment

Environmental or occupational safety experience in an industrial setting

Knowledge of wastewater treatment operations

Knowledge of OSHA and EPA regulations, including industrial hygiene and testing

Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs

Must have supervisor and/or manager recommendation and must be able to perform all essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodation.
