Your Role at KIK
As Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Manager you will develop, implement, and monitor company environmental health and safety (EH&S) programs and policies to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local environmental, health, and safety regulations.
What you will be doing
Execute company strategies, policies and ensure compliance to all applicable federal, state and local regulations.
Lead continuous improvement initiatives and ensure a safe working environment for our colleagues.
Demonstrate the ability to build trust and confidence with the Operations Team and inspire change through providing comprehensive risk assessments and data analysis.
Provide technical guidance concerning site EHS issues – site subject matter expert.
Establishment and maintenance of site EHS objectives and targets.
Represents EHS on the site Leadership Team.
Development and execution of tactical and strategic plans to improve EHS performance.
Manage and drive the EHS training program, including new hire, job-specific, contractor and required refresher training.
What You’ll Bring
5+ years of EHS compliance experience in a manufacturing environment.
Bachelor's degree in related field
Detailed knowledge and understanding of federal, state/provincial and local EHS regulations is required. Specifically EPA: TIER II, TRI, RCRA.
Experience with Process Safety Management (PSM), Risk Management Plans (RMP) or E2 requirements is a plus.
Ability to drive change by taking projects from proposal to implementation.
Experience in industrial wastewater treatment systems is a plus.
Experience with Benchmark Gensuite Software is a plus.
