OVERVIEW
BlackBerry is looking for an Education Programs Registrar to join the core Training and Education team at the Cybersecurity Centre of Excellence (CCOE) located in Kuala Lumpur. The Registrar will have responsibility to oversee the registration and enrollment of students in CCOE training programs including ensuring that students meet the admission and completion requirements, processing student applications, maintaining student records and databases, issuing certificates and transcripts, and providing excellent customer service to students and instructors.
RESPONSIBILITIES
In this busy and exciting role, the Education Programs Registrar will:
Manage the registration and enrollment of students in the online and in-class educational programs.
Verify student eligibility and compliance with admission and completion requirements, such as prerequisites, transcripts, and test scores.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date student records and ensure the security and confidentiality of student information.
Issue certificates and transcripts to students upon completion of their programs and update their academic status and credentials.
Provide support and assistance to students and instructors and respond to their inquiries and requests via phone or email.
Manage the master schedule for all live in-person training working closely with the Expert Trainers to optimize time and space and ensure that students journey through our program efficiently.
Be a superuser of the CCOE Learning Management System to allow you to effectively troubleshoot with students onsite or online.
Assist with event management and promotion for speaking and networking events as well as the regular CCOE Community of Practice at the CCOE facility.
Prepare and generate reports and statistics on student enrollment, retention, completion, and satisfaction, as well as COP memberships, event attendance, and provide feedback and recommendations for program improvement.
Stay updated on the latest cybersecurity and learning trends and best practices and participate in professional development and training opportunities.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree in education, administration, or a related field
Two years of experience as an Education Program Registrar, Enrollment Specialist, Services Coordinator, or a similar role in an educational setting.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, Smartsheet and online Learning Management Systems
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with diverse audiences and stakeholders.
Excellent organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills, and the ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Attention to detail, accuracy, and quality, and the ability to follow policies and procedures and ensure compliance with standards and regulations.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team, and to take initiative and ownership of projects and tasks.
Flexibility and adaptability, and the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
