JOB REQUIREMENTS: Overview Produces appropriate dimension ultrasonicrecordings and doppler flow images of heart and related structures fordiagnostic use. Technicians are responsible for operating and caring fordiagnostic equipment, working as part of a multidisciplinary team, andserving on committees and/or task forces and participating in projectsas needed/requested. He/She may be required to alternate shifts,weekends, holidays, call schedules, flexible hours, and overtime asnecessary to ensure the delivery of quality patient care at assignedsite(s). Lake Geneva WI (Pool coverage at Walworth, Harvard or CrystalLake facilities) Hours will vary (based off need) Monday - Friday, NoWeekends (Not full time) Responsibilities All outcome based duties andstandards within this department will be performed according to theestablished policies, procedures and guidelines within the departmentand organization. Performs echocardiographic examinations, assumingresponsibilities for the quality of the examination and using clinicaljudgment to determine the need for additional testing protocols. Assess,prepare and perform echocardiographic examinations (M-mode,2-dimensional doppler, transesophageal and stress). Provide foremotional support, physical comfort and safety of patients and visitors.Maintains equipment and area in working condition. Assists with otherduties as assigned.
