The UMB Fund Services Investor Tax Team is a small group of dedicated individuals working in a fast-paced environment. As a support team our primary responsibility is issuing tax forms to our Mutual Fund and Alternate Investment client’s investors and preparation of associated regulatory filings. In addition to the tax forms and filings, a number of ancillary tasks are performed to ensure accuracy.

　　As the Tax Retirement Analyst, you will ensure the validation of mutual fund client documentations by reviewing various accounts and shareholder forms.

　　How you’ll be spending your time:

　　Assist with the preparation and reporting of tax related information for multiple mutual fund clients.

　　Daily review of complex mutual fund trades including IRAs, CESAs and 403(b) accounts

　　Review and reconcile Federal and State withholding against shareholder trades

　　Process and respond to IRS and State Revenue Department notices

　　Process cost basis transfer statements

　　Assist with the creation and processing of shareholder forms 1099, 1042s and 5498s

　　Interface with other departments to resolve discrepancies within acceptable timeframes

　　Assist in documentation of workflow and procedures

　　Participate in projects/project teams along with testing of new systems and programs as directed

　　Minimum: $33,920.00 - Maximum: $78,450.00
