Rutland County Head Start is hiring co-teachers for their new Early HeadStart (infant/toddler) program located in Rutland City. As an Early HeadStart Toddler Teacher, you will serve as co-teacher in anoutcomes-oriented, team environment, and provide safe, healthy,friendly, and developmentally appropriate environments and experiencesfor infants and toddlers. You will receive support, training, andexceptional professional development.

Minimum Qualifications: AssociatesDegree in Early Childhood Education, AA degree in a related field with18 credits in Early Childhood Education, or a current Infant/ToddlerChild Development Associate Credential (CDA).

- Utilize knowledge of children\'s interests, learning styles andstages of development to create meaningful play and maximize learningopportunities.
- Implement research-based assessment practices that guide instructionand monitor children\'s growth and development.
- Conduct home visits and family conferences as required.
- Participate in ongoing professional development and in-servicetrainings during and after hours, including college-level courses asrequired.
- Must have a valid driver\'s license, reliable transportation withpersonal automobile liability insurance coverage at or above the levelsmandated by the State of Vermont.
