MNIT OHE designs and supports large and complex database and reporting systems. The team leads the technical design of agency systems, business practices, and process automation.
As a Dynamics 365/Power Platform Developer you will be responsible for the development and day-to-day maintenance and enhancements of the Microsoft Dynamics 365/Power Platform application systems in test and production operations, including tasks related to identifying and troubleshooting application issues and issues resolution or escalation.
You will ensure all production changes are made in accordance with lifecycle methodology, version control, appropriate testing, and risk guidelines. You will act as an internal expert in terms of the assigned system and are responsible for knowing and recording changes to the base system. You will play a critical role in delivering high—quality customer service and support to various levels of internal users. You will conduct technical and analytical work in developing, designing, and/or analyzing technical solutions, performing needs assessments, and managing product lifestyle for the agency.
This position will coordinate complex aspects of large system design including industry standards, security plans, and recovery plans. You will be responsible for advanced system design and technology implementation, often acting as a lead in utilization of new technology. You will also analyze, design, and develop modern applications to replace legacy agency applications.
The incumbent ensures quality and consistency across multiple projects by designing, coding testing and debugging applications using modern, best-practice SaaS development techniques. The end goal of the position is the successful delivery of projects in a consistent and documented manner.
This position is currently eligible for full-time telework:
Telework for Minnesota IT Services allows an employee to perform work from a telework location and an employee may be required to be in the office based on business needs and other dependencies in St. Paul, Minnesota.
Only candidates located in Minnesota and bordering states (Iowa, North Dakota, South Dakota, or Wisconsin) are telework eligible.

ITS4:
Position requires a minimum of four (4) years of Dynamics 365/Power Platform experience including Dynamics 365 CRM and Power Platform.
Experiences must also include:
CRM skills, Power Platform skills (including Power Automate, Power BI, Power Apps and Power Portal/Pages).
Demonstrated experience with C# and Java Script.
Demonstrated experience designing and building customizations for Dynamics 365/Power Platform.
Demonstrated experience writing custom code and integration with 3 rd party services and external APIs.
Ability to deliver effective verbal or written messages that facilitate a mutual understanding on both parties.
Customer service skills that include active listening, empathy, and problem-solving.
A Master’s degree in Information Technology or a related field may substitute for three years of experience, OR a related Bachelor’s degree may substitute for two years, OR a related Associate’s may substitute for one year.
ITS5:
Position requires a minimum of five (5) years of Dynamics 365/Power Platform experience including Dynamics 365 CRM and Power Platform.
Experiences must also include:
CRM skills, Power Platform skills (including Power Automate, Power BI, Power Apps and Power Portal/Pages).
Demonstrated experience with C# and Java Script.

Preferred Qualifications
Four (4) years of experience with Dynamics 365 Marketing.
Two (2) or more years of experience writing custom code and integration with 3 rd party services and external API’s.
Two (2) or more years of experience designing and building customizations for Dynamics 365/Power Platform.
Four (4) or more years of experience with C# and Java Script.
Experience with delivering custom developed systems for the business, implementing Dynamics 365/Power Platform solutions for the business.
Advanced C# and Java Script skills to support development and integration of Dynamics 365/Power Platform applications
Intermediate SQL Query writing skills
Advanced knowledge and experience using XRM toolkit
Advanced knowledge and experience using Microsoft Visual Studio for plug-in development
