Job Summary: The Route Relief/UtilityRSR supports the Service Department in its objectives to meet ourcustomers needs through up-selling/cross-selling and providing superiorcustomer service. Main duties are to cover routes and perform servicerelated tasks as required. Reports to the District Manager. Run routes as needed for holidays, vacations or othervacancies. - When not on a route, assist in rush deliveries, renewals,audits, training and any other tasks assigned by supervision. - Solicitnew customers, up-sell/cross-sell/sample all lines of service or productand ensure a profitable product mix. - Actively participate inpromotions and contests, training and audits. - Follow companypolicies/procedures regarding new customers, managing customer needs andall aspects of service. - Ensure customer loyalty and outstandingcustomer service. Build relationships, communicate openly, educatecustomers and proactively resolve concerns in cooperation withsupervision. - Safely operate a delivery vehicle on each trip, followingall applicable laws and company policy. Maintain vehicle cleanliness andperform regular vehicle inspections. - Handle and process customerpayments. Keep route paperwork current. - Ensure timely and correctdeliveries of complete textile loads, pick up soiled textiles andmaintain proper inventories in accounts.
