Description:

　　Manage and configure the software platform and integrate application software components and the software platform into complete node software. Verify the software platform. This includes software build environment and continuous integration/deployment. The Embedded Software Integration Engineer also develops the embedded software technologies and the software platform. Lead ESW integration in a technical team and play an active role in the delivery. Integrate deliveries from others. Responsibility for securing quality and readiness before release. The deliveries are often focused on the early phases of the development cycle developing technical roadmaps. Network across the organization as well as influencing the work in the other sites. Develop acquired competence as well as participate in the business development. On Experienced level applies practical knowledge typically obtained through education and work experience position typically requires 2 to 5 years relevant experience. - Self-sufficient takes lead on own tasks and able to work/plan independently.- Self-driven proactive engagement with learning opportunities and ongoing Experienced development.

　　Requirements

　　• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical or Mechanical engineering, Computer Science, Engineering Physics or a related field

　　• Experience with heavy duty vehicle repair, diagnostics and maintenance, heavy duty product development or as verification/test engineer (minimum 3-5 yrs)

　　• Programming skills (HW close or Object Oriented) and/or Distributed Systems competence

　　• UDS on CAN, Python, Canoe, Canalyzer, Robot Framework, Business and data modelling, Domain Driven Design, JAVA Script, Dev Ops, Azure, Polymer, Virtual methods, Data Analytics, Machine learning, Model Based Design, Extended Vehicle / Automotive knowledge, System architecture (Full system on/off board)

　　Preferred

　　• Software development experience

　　• Hands on experience with verification and validation methods

　　• Experience working in an environment utilizing Agile project management

　　• Experience with tuning software

　　• Previous experience with Volvo Group diagnostic and authoring systems (TechTool, GradeX, OTX, SEWS/SEWS2, Configurator, DiagX) is a plus.
