Braun Intertec is seeking a geotechnical drilling assistant to join our Rochester, MN, office.n nResponsibilitesnDrilling n• Assist in all aspects of drilling operations while gaining experiences necessary to work with minimal directionn• Help in collection of data and samples in the field under the direction of the crew chiefn• Return field samples labeled, organized and completen nMaintenancen• Responsible for maintaining the tooling, equipment and support vehiclen• Assist in drill rig maintenance and repairsn nSafetyn• Responsible for promoting and adhering to a safe work practicen• Use required and approved personal protective equipment (PPE) while performing all functions n nDepartment of Transportation n• Operate support vehicles in safe and lawful mannern• Maintain necessary documentation relating to the operation of commercial motor vehicles, if applicablennRequired Skillsn• A valid driver's license and good driving record requiredn• Must have ability to obtain a valid Class B license within 90 daysn• Good mechanical aptituden• Ability to lift 50 pounds on a regular basisn• Must be able to work in outdoors in all types of weathern• Must be available to travel up to 50% and on short noticen• Must be available for night and weekend workn• Ability to pass a road testnnRequired Experiencen• A valid driver's license and good driving recordn• High school diploman• Ability to obtain Class A CDL within 90 daysn• Ability to pass a road testn• Ability to pass a drug testn nPreferred Experiencen• Class A or B CDLn• Previous drilling experiencen nThe successful candidate will be encouraged to expand their skills and certifications through company provided training and mentoring.
