Our Opportunity Summary:
As a Cloud Systems Engineer in the DRAM Engineering group at Micron, you will be working with compute platforms in a data center environment, seeking out different failure mechanisms, the predictability of those mechanisms, and their effect on the overall system environment. You will also be responsible for system-level DRAM validation, system characterization, and failure analysis as it pertains to the Cloud space and investigation of different DRAM architectures to improve correctability. Your day-to-day functions may also include: running and configuring diagnostic software, system debugging, crafting experiments, analyzing and interpreting data, crafting custom tools, and presenting data to customers both inside and outside of Micron and occasionally carrying out these responsibilities at the customers’ site. Lastly, the seniority level offered will be based on a combination of experience and education.

What’s Encouraged Daily:
Collaboration with customers and system enablers on memory fault management in systems (RAS - Reliability, Addressability and Serviceability)
Analysis of large-scale datasets to extract unique insights
Maintain a solid understanding of Micron products and customer platforms
Continually acquire new skills and knowledge relating to memory, systems, and data analytics
Characterize, and debug DRAM errors and feedback to internal teams and customers
Collaborate with internal and external customers to continually improve design and manufacturing quality
Leveraging product datasheets and documentation to deeply understand product and system function
How To Qualify:
Proven experience concerning Data/Statistical Analytics
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering
Productive and efficient time usage thereby leading to more effective work.
Satisfactory ability to convey or share ideas either verbally or in written form with our customers.
What Sets You Apart:
Experience within the semiconductor field
Memory product engineering, and/or system compatibility
Proven Python coding experience/capability
SQL/Cloud Database processing experience
Having an innovative approach that is open to improving upon any of our processes or products.
