JOB REQUIREMENTS: Scope Layout and completion of documents and models byusing Building Information modeling (BIM) software. PrincipalResponsibilities Work closely with other Technicians, Designers andEngineers on projects using BIM software; Review work requirements withscheduler to determine work for the day and/or week; Requestsclarification from the designer on items that are not clear on markupsor instructions for drafting or modeling purposes; Is familiar with BIMstandards and symbols to maintain uniformity for the company; Insuresthat the drawings produced are of quality acceptable to the company;Assist engineers and designers with field measurements of existingbuilding systems and prepare drawings from field data; May helpcalculate quantities for cost estimate; Perform drawing maintenance andrun prints as needed; Other duties as assigned by employer. SkillsKnowledge of design techniques, tools, and principals involved in theproduction of technical plans and models; Strong skill and experience inthe use of BIM software; Skill in the use of Microsoft Office programs;Knowledge of practical applications of engineering science andtechnology; Strong written and verbal communication skills, with theability to communicate with all levels of colleagues and clients;Education and Experience Associates degree or certificate in ComputerAided Drafting or related field required; 2+ years experience in theproduction of construction documents and models preferred; MicroStationexperience preferred but not required; Previous work experience in thetransportation industry helpful IMEG Corp., an employee-ownedcorporation, is committed to investing in employees\' futures throughprofessional development programs and opportunities for careeradvancement.
