About IP Engineer

　　Responsibilities

　　Manage the IP portfolio for the Asia business unit.

　　Interface with engineers and outside patent attorneys for preparing/coordinating patent application drafting, foreign filing,

　　Assist inventors with invention disclosures and present them to the IP Review Board for filing decision(s).

　　Maintain invention disclosure records in database.

　　Perform patentability, competitive and other types of searching for business unit.

　　Coordinate with new product development for clearing products as well as filing patent applications on new features in new products.

　　Manage and track IP related expense.

　　Requirements

　　Bachelor’s degree or above

　　3+ years working experience in Engineering or Patents

　　HVAC compressor or system knowledge (Preferred)

　　Patent Strategy development experience (Preferred)

　　Excellent verbal and written communications skills for interfacing with various departments, including legal and global resources.
