Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:30 AM - 6:30 PM with Saturday as needed
Status: Full-time (Exempt)
Compensation: Starting at $65K Annually
$300 Sign-on Bonus After Completion of the 90-Day Probationary Period
The Down Stocking / Inventory Department Manager oversees the overall “day-to-day” operations of the Down Stocking Department. The Down Stocking / Inventory Department Manager will work closely with the Assistant Manager and Warehouse Manager to maintain standards and SOP compliance.
Essential Functions
Contributes to the creation and implementation of best practice vision, strategy, policies, processes, and procedures to aid and improve operational performance.
Assists in overseeing and reviewing all production metrics and targets daily.
Interacting with employees to make sure that daily metrics are made.
Making sure that the Zone In Charge, Leads, and/or Supervisors are keeping in line with the standards of the company SOP. and making their minimum requirements.
Maintains warehouse stocking operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing program, operational, and personnel policies and procedures.
Assists with any corrective actions that need to be administered.
Following up on Leads and or Supervisors on Action Plans that need to be given.
Supports the shipping department to meet all orders being picked before CUT-OFFS. Keep Leads and Supervisors accountable for helping pickers in finding products in a timely matter and helping pickers to obtain missing products by filling bins.
Assists in the management of all warehouse employees to ensure all employees are meeting job-level expectations and requirements.
Consistently determines ways to improve upon existing processes to increase efficiency.
Assists in ensuring customer deliveries are made timely and accurately by making sure bins are filled correctly and labeled correctly.
Making sure that all reports and responsibilities are completed each day.
Supports Shipping (Pickers) associates by coaching them on products.
Supports the Assistant Manager and Warehouse Manager through counseling, and disciplining employees, planning, monitoring, and appraising job results.
Reviews various reports and records for accuracy and compliance with the established procedures. Ensures all Down Stocking associates consistently follow all established procedures.
Performs other duties assigned by the Warehouse Manager.
Works closely with the Warehouse Manager on implementing SOPs and the company's Agenda for continuous growth.
Manages overhead to maximize productivity and minimize waste. (Utilizing the right number of employees that it should take to achieve company metrics and goals).
Overlooks Inventory activities for Scanning bins and boxes to match inventory that is already in the system.
Working with Inventory and looking for inaccuracies and adjusting the inventory.
Working with Inventory on improving the system and making the inventory process more productive and accurate.
Helping the Inventory team with bin movement on a weekly basis to adjust the locations as per their sale.
Helping the Inventory team by scanning the warehouse for overstock on a weekly basis to stay up to date with the current overstock of the warehouse.
Make KPI reports on a monthly basis for both departments.
Provide the training materials for new hires and help the new staff with the training needs in both departments.
Constantly communicate with receiving and shipping team members to be updated with the new products.

Supervisory Responsibility
This position manages all employees of the Aisle Stocking and Inventory department. He or she is also responsible for the performance management of the employees within the department.
Work Environment
This job operates in a warehouse environment where the noise level can be loud. The employee is frequently exposed to fast-moving carts and bins throughout the warehouse.
Physical Demands
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing ladders. The employee must frequently lift and/or move items over 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
Required Education and Experience
A minimum of an Associate degree. Three to five years of experience in a warehouse, inventory control, or materials management in a manufacturing, warehouse, or distribution center environment. A minimum of two years of supervisory experience.
Work Authorization
