Kforce has a client in Smithfield, RI that is seeking a Data Engineer.Responsibilities:

　　Participating in define, build, prove cycles

　　Writing complex SQL queries on Oracle (PL/SQL)

　　Performance optimization and tunning approaches, SQL tuning

　　ETL strategies, design, and development

　　Resiliency and stability design principals, including SRE

　　Bachelor's degree required and at least 10 years of hands-on experience in Data Engineering

　　Solid experience in writing complex SQL queries on Oracle (PL/SQL)

　　Hand-on experience with performance optimization and tunning approaches, SQL tuning

　　Public Cloud expertise (Azure preferred)

　　Experience working with large data sets

　　Experience with ETL strategies, design, and development

　　Experience with resiliency and stability design principals, including SRE

　　Familiarity with large complex system design

　　Shell scripting experience

　　Linux environment experience

　　Financial services experience preferred

　　Familiarity with distribution application design and development (Java, .Net, Python) would be a plus

　　The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
