This senior level position provides oversight of programs related to Biomedical Engineering, Materials Management, Physical Operations, and computer software informational systems. Experience in daily production of cleanroom environments, as well as interviewing, selection, hiring, and training of new employees with knowledge in cleanroom environment and regulatory framework in accordance with cGMP, FDA, and ISO regulations pertinent to the environmental control in ISO7/8 facilities is crucial.The Division Director, Core Operations enforces current strategic planning initiatives; develops new activities and department goals in support of blood center strategic plans. Directs and facilitates cross functional activities that support the interdepartmental communications, productivity, and quality between various operating units. Develops innovative processes for monitoring operations to ensure high quality customer service and successful delivery of outputs. Fiscal responsibilities along with acquisition and maintenance of all materials/supplies for efficient operation of the departments. Promotes training, leadership, and management skills. Provides direct supervision to exempt and non-exempt staff. Performs related duties based on departmental need.Essential FunctionsProvide strategic vision and leadership to help manage, grow, and execute donor center core operations in accordance with federal, state, and local laws, regulations, and standards.Develop policies and implement procedures to enforce strategic planning initiatives; develop new activities and goals to support the BECS Administrators, Biomedical Specialists, staff in the Materials Management and Physical Operations departments at the Division Director level.Develop metrics and goals on key performance indicators of productivity for Core Operations departments.Work cross functionally to help the overall mission across the various operating units.Direct and administer the development of departmental budgets in Biomedical Engineering, Materials Management, Physical Operations and BECS; approve all supplies and expenditures.Ensure departmental processes, procedures, and service activities are compliant with federal, state, local and accreditation, laws, regulations, and standards.Direct the development and management of training and education of all employees in th
