What You Will Do:
The Director of Marketing is responsible for the development and execution of US marketing programs for luxury haircare and styling. The Director has overall responsibility for helping to execute the brand vision across all channels while achieving the annual budget plan, with a focus on growing brand awareness and recruitment. They will interface daily with key departments such as: sales, finance and demand planning, education, communications, digital teams, creative, national accounts and e commerce functions. They will also have a strategic partnership with the International marketing teams (DMI) to help craft the global launch strategy ensuring success in the US market.
Communicate overall strategy to cross functional team and in collaboration, work to develop effective strategies to achieve annual budget and to influence innovation in all brand programs.
Partner with Vice President to develop and ensure execution of strategic marketing plans to build profitability and grow market share across all channels.
Develop strategic Promotional Calendar through collaborative effort with category leaders to drive sales and maintain effective brand image and innovation.
Determine US-relevant opportunities and work closely with the International team in Paris (DMI) on development and execution.
Responsible for managing all financial aspects of the business across categories and in the development, monitoring, reconciliation and senior management review of the departmental budget.
Lead projects from initial concept to implementation, and coordinate the tasks between the various cross-functional teams involved.
What We Are Looking For:
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor degree in Marketing or related field required, MBA preferred.
8+ years brand management, experience in haircare & styling preferred. Salon industry experience a plus.
Dynamic, and proactive personality with the ability to perform impactful presentations.
Solid analytic abilities. Proven expertise in problem solving and multiple project management.
Strong organization and prioritization skills required.
Ability to lead, influence and motivate team members and peers.

Salary Range: $140,100-$203,200 (The actual compensation will depend on a variety of job-related factors which may include geographic location, work experience, education, and skill level)
