　　Trinitas Regional Medical Center, an RWJBH facility is searching for a Director of Performance Improvement with supportive and empowering leadership qualities,

　　The Director will have the opportunity to develop their team while collaborating with hospital leadership and working closely with the Chief Medical Officer,

　　This individual must be patient-centered, inquisitive with a desire to learn and continuously stay updated with current healthcare rules and regulations that pertain to Performance Improvement,

　　We are seeking candidates that are familiar with initiatives such as High Reliability, patient safety, regulatory compliance, infection prevention, Root-Cause Analysis, Apparent-Cause analysis, Leapfrog, CMS stars, patient experience, AHRQ, Health grades, Joint Commission, Hospital Compare and Case Management/Utilization to name a few,

　　The candidate should share in the mission, vision and values of the RWJBH family,

　　Qualifications:

　　Educational Skills Required (Degree(s), Certification(s), License, etc.)

　　Minimum requirement: RN/BSN and/or Master s degree in healthcare related field (MSN/MHA) preferred with a minimum of 5+ years experience in quality/performance improvement/patient safety/ accreditation. Certification as a CPHQ/Six Sigma. /Patient Safety a plus. Candidate will be required to achieve quality/patient safety certification within 2 years of hire.

　　Work Experience Required

　　Minimum 5 years nursing experience or applicable experience related to advanced degree in an acute care facility.

　　Minimum 5 years of experience evidencing a proven track record with managing regulatory compliance and increasing Leapfrog, CMS, HCAHPS, and other quality scores.

　　In-depth knowledge of Joint Commission, NJDOH and Federal guidelines, regulations and standards, having prepared, and participated in State, Joint Commission, and CMS surveys.

　　In-depth knowledge of Leapfrog, IHI, AHRQ, Healthgrades, Joint Commission site, Hospital Compare (NJDHSS and CMS), Quality Net, Press- Ganey. Case Management/Utilization a plus.

　　Proficient ability to analyze data from various data sources for improvement and patient safety initiatives such as, Nuance and EPIC preferred (Word, Power Point, Excel, Outlook)
