Description:
Assist the corporate sustainability team and Real Estate/Facilities teams to collect information related to the companies electricity sources
Research and document publicly available data for regional grids, such as grid mix and sources of electricity for the region
Collect, enter and analyze electricity source data
Calculate and document renewable energy use in the company’s global facilities
Create a report or dashboard showing percent renewable energy mix used in the company’s regional and global facilities
Evaluate potential projects or programs to increase the renewable energy use at the company
Deliver a final presentation of the findings
Perform other essential work-related duties as assigned
Skills Qualifications:
4th year undergraduate student actively pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Environmental Sustainability, Climate Science, or related field
Basic understanding of electricity and both renewable and non-renewable sources of energy
Self-motivated/self-starter
Attention to detail
Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills
Excellent time management skills
Ability to work in a hybrid environment (3 days in-person, 2 days remote)
