　　GFY is seeking a Rod Person, who is interested in being a part of an influential work environment. This position will primarily assist survey crews on a variety of different projects.

　　Responsibilities:

　　Standing and walking through woods, swamps, roadways, private property, riverbanks, etc., for various amounts of time while holding or carrying equipment ranging from 10-50 pounds

　　Perform general labor tasks for 2–3-person survey field crews

　　Clears brush with the use of a machete, holds rods to measure horizontal and vertical distances and elevations

　　Carry traffic cones for MOT (Maintenance of Traffic) (four cones = 48lbs), carry and set concrete monuments (30-50 lbs.) and iron pins using a sledgehammer (4-8lbs)

　　Responsible for maintaining a safe work site environment for all survey crewmembers

　　Responsible for job-specific quality system tasks as defined in the quality manual

　　Responsible to care for and maintain all appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) issued by the company

　　Out-of-town travel may be required.

　　Experience and Qualifications:

　　High school diploma or equivalent

　　Team player who is self-motivated but can work independently as needed
