Rev Group is a veteran friendly employer and hires over 200 veterans and or those transferring out of the military each year.Job summary:Assemble cabinets from engineering drawings, utilizing a variety of different tools, and equipment.Responsibilities:Installation, fabrication of cabinet components and hardware.Sets up and operates variety of machines and uses various hand tools to fabricate cabinets.Marks outline or dimensions of parts, according to blueprint or drawing specifications.Set work priorities to meet production goals as scheduled.The above list of responsibilities is not exhaustive, and you may be required to undertake other responsibilities and/or training as requested by your line manager.Requirements (education, experience, travel, physical, work environment):One or more years cabinet making experience or similar experience.Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and layout and other written or verbal instructions.Close attention to detailAbility to read and use linear and other measuring devices.Ability to laminate cabinets & panels as needed.Familiar with the safe operation of various pneumatic and power tools: including but not limited to drills, screw gun, table saw, band saw and routers.Ability to use basic mathematics.Ability to perform all operations within acceptable quality and time standards.Physical Demands:The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Other physical requirements include:Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 40#'s without assistance.Ability to work from various squatting, kneeling or bending positions.Ability to work with arms above head.Ability to work from ladders or scaffolding.Ability to stand at a workstation for eight hours a day (minus specified breaks).Ability to safely use specified hand, air, power tools, and machinery.Ability to operate and understand the operation of all protective safety equipment in the area.Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, peripheral vision and depth perception.Must be able to endure repetitive motions (hand crimping). (Employee must not suffer from any preexisting conditions, such as carpal tunnel or tennis elbow, or any other medical condition that may be aggravated by such motions.)Ability to work in 105-degree heat for excess of ten (10) hours per day.Ability to work in noisy and dusty conditions.<
