General Description
The Director of Program Finance is responsible for the accurate, timely and compliant financial processes, analysis and reporting of the Projects' financial performance.
Duties
Complete monthly Estimates At Completed (EAC) and provide accurate metrics reflecting the projects' performance.Complete comprehensive EAC variance analysis to determine root cause and recommend recovery actions.Determine and implement compliant Revenue Recognition methods and processes across the enterprise.Ensure projects' revenue and profit recognition are complaint with GAAP and are consistent with the projects' EAC on a monthly basis. Analyze project revenue and profit at month end close and enter correcting entries as required.Complete Revenue, profit, and billings forecasts to Financial Planning and present to Executive Management monthly.Implement an efficient and streamlined project set up process in Cost Point that complies with ASC 606 requirements.Complete Monthly Program Management Review financial visibility charts with insightful variance analysis.Ensure projects billings are timely and manage the projects' unbilled balance to a minimum.Provide Revenue, cost, profit, billings forecasts to support the Annual Budget Plan and quarterly reforecasts.Establish Program Finance processes that are consistently applied across the enterprise.Manage, mentor, and advance the Program Finance organization/processes to establish a world class organization.Other duties as assignedEducation/Experience Requirements
BS/BA in Accounting, Finance or equivalent required.Knowledgeable in GAAP requirements as it relates to revenue and profit recognition required.Minimum of 3 years' experience in a Program Finance leadership role required.Minimum 7 years' experience managing a Program Finance Organization required.Experience in Financial Planning, Accounting, and/or Cost Accounting is a plus.Deltek Cost Point experience required.Advanced knowledge of Excel and COGNOS required.Knowledge and experience in budgeting, financial analysis, and government contracting required.Knowledge of government contract terms and indirect rate pools required.Minimum of 5 years' experience in the Government Defense Contracting business, FAR and CAS knowledge required.We maintain a drug-free workplace and perform post offer, pre-employment substance abuse testing.Physical Requirements
