Description
Staff Accountant needed for a dynamic and rapidly growing organization in Manufacturing industry. As a detail-oriented and experienced Staff Accountant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the day-to-day financial operations. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of adjustments, accrual accounting, and possess the skills necessary to contribute to special projects. This role requires a proactive individual who can efficiently handle month-end close functions and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Responsibilities for the Staff Accountant:
Month-End Close: Execute month-end closing procedures with precision and attention to detail, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
Accrual Accounting: Demonstrate proficiency in accrual accounting principles, accurately recording financial transactions and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.
Special Projects: Collaborate with internal teams on special projects, providing financial insights and support to drive strategic decision-making.
Financial Analysis: Assist in financial analysis activities, including variance analysis, budgeting, and forecasting, to support the overall financial health of the organization.
General Ledger Maintenance: Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, identifying discrepancies and proposing corrective actions.
Documentation: Prepare and maintain documentation of accounting processes and procedures, ensuring compliance with company policies and industry regulations.

Requirements
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or related field.
CPA designation or progress towards CPA is a plus, not required.
3+ of relevant experience in accounting roles.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables & lookups)
ERP system experience, Microsoft Dynamics is a plus.
Strong understanding of adjustments and accrual accounting.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
