Description

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Director of Programs to lead and oversee a portfolio of initiatives that empower adults with disabilities. This leadership role will manage various progams. The Director of Programs will play a critical role in ensuring effective program delivery, growth, and alignment with the organization's mission.

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement program strategies that align with organizational goals.

Oversee and evaluate programs to drive effectiveness and improvement.

Lead, mentor, and support program staff, fostering a positive team culture.

Build partnerships with stakeholders to enhance program reach.

Manage budgets with financial accountability.

Conduct needs assessments and evaluations to guide program planning.

Identify and pursue funding opportunities, including grant writing.

Report program outcomes to the Executive Director, stakeholders, and funders.

Requirements

Requirements:

5+ years of program management experience in the nonprofit sector, with 2+ years of managing multiple programs.

3+ years of staff management experience.

Bachelor’s degree in Nonprofit Management, Public Administration, or a related field preferred.

Strong program evaluation and budget management skills.

Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Knowledge of working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) is preferred.

Bilingual in English/Spanish is a plus.
