Description

　　My client, a pharmaceutical company located in Teterboro, has an opportunity for a Director of Accounting/Accounting Manager.

　　Offers Hybrid Schedule 2 days in office and 3 days from home!!

　　• Responsible for accurate and timely financial statement flux analysis for related areas.

　　• Support the close process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of month-end and quarter-end close activities, including journal entries, reconciliations, and consolidation.

　　• Prepare and reviews journal entries, account reconciliations and internal control documentation as necessary.

　　• Subject matter expert on intercompany cross charges and related research as it relates to compensation.

　　• Coach, mentor and develop staff.

　　• Streamline existing processes and procedures to continually improve efficiency and controls.

　　• Responsible for all financial activities including the Inventory, Distributor and Sales Commissions, Customer Agreements, AP, AR, Fixed Assets, Intercompany, Customer Agreements and Consolidation.

　　• Support external audit and internal audit support by satisfying all requests timely and accurately.

　　• Collaborate in the development, implementation and oversight of company-wide accounting policies and controls consistent with GAAP.

　　Requirements

　　Requirements:

　　• 5+ years of work experience in accounting in roles of increasing responsibility and 2+ years’ experience in leadership role.

　　• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and CPA license and public accounting experience a plus.

　　• Proficiency in Microsoft Office software including Word and PowerPoint and significant experience using Excel.

　　• Ability to train, mentor and motivate team members.

　　• Experience leading and shortening the month end close and driving process improvements.

　　• Medical Device/pharma industry experience a plus.

　　• Experience working with NetSuite a plus
