Job Summary: The Director OperationsProgram Management is responsible for enterprise-wide development,management, and execution of strategic initiatives within the GlobalOperations organization. This role establishes appropriate standardproject practices and processes and acts as the subject matter expertthrough mentoring Project Managers and teams in the definition of scope,timing, cost, and approvals aligned to a standardized process. Thisposition is accountable to the Executive Team for key programmilestones, activities, resources and schedules. The DirectorOperations - Program Management is also responsible for monitoringproject activities to ensure milestone reviews and sign-offs areoccurring at appropriate time and levels as required. This role alsomanages regular communication of project status to sponsors andstakeholders, provides cross-functional feedback on team performance andhelps teams overcome obstacles encountered during projects. EssentialDuties and Responsibilities: Lead Generac Development Process (GDP)governance and administration functions within global operations.Analyze new and existing NPI projects to ensure scope, budget and timingexpectations are clearly identified and cross functionally managedaccordingly. Maintain speed of innovation in competitive industry whileachieving project milestones related to budget, timelines and scope.Provide project management leadership to complex NPI projects to drivebusiness strategy. Plan, administer and implement assigned process andproject management standardization projects, which may cross severalfunctional areas, such as marketing, product management, operations,outside services, vendors and etc. Lead cross-functional teams withother areas of the company and with the members of acquired companiesfor project management process standardization. Proactively communicateproject status, issues and risks to sponsoring management and keystakeholders. Maintain timelines and target dates in project planningsoftware to ensure successful completion of assigned project phaseswithin the budgeted time and cost constraints; makes certain thatdeadlines are met and milestones are properly set and communicated.
