Eaton’s ES AMER ESS division is currently seeking a International Logistics & Trade Documentation Specialist.
The expected annual salary range for this role is $80250.03 - $117700.04 a year.

What you’ll do:
Job Summary
Support international import and export transactions by acting as liaison with all internal parties as well as customers and freight forwarders to ensure smooth processing of shipments. Produce and retain accurate shipping documentation and implement new procedures as needed while remaining compliant with export regulations.
Job Responsibilities
Proactively manage all aspects of international export shipments
Execute required export documentation such as Export Invoice, Shipper's Letter of Instruction, Certificate of Origin, among others as needed
Ensure compliance with all import and export regulations, as directed by the corporate Global Trade Management team
Regularly review processes to omptimize efficiency, including collecting and acting on feedback from internal partners such as Customers, Global Supply Chain and Shipping teams; Document all processes
Coordinate day to day activities with forwarders and customs broker
Liase with corporate Import team to address shipment specific inquiries related to import compliance
Monitor and manage carrier issues as needed
Coordinate import airfreight shipments from quote to execution, complete coordinating premuim freight approval process
Act as backup administrative support shipping related activities in SAP (idocs)
Proactively seek out gaps in master data in SAP across several sales organizations and plants
Collect Bills of Lading and/or Airway Bills from carriers, review for accuracy and compliance, and scan to document retention system for Duty Drawback compliance and ease of access during audits
Prepare complex and critical reports of import and export shipments, proactively addressing any missing data with extreme attention to detail
This role will report directly to the Division Logistics Team but will work cross-functionally with Global Supply Chain, the Site Shipping Team, and The Eaton Global Trade Management team.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree
3 years in Import and Export logistics or freight forwarding
Advanced Excel experience
Advanced SAP experience
Advanced GTS experience
