　　The Impact You’ll Make in this Role As a Distribution Center Campus Director, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:

　　Leading a team of employees dedicated to distributing 3M products to customers around the world

　　Driving operational excellence across the campus through conscientious management and decisive actions in environment, health, safety, quality, service, inventory management, cost, and employee relations

　　Overseeing site environment, health, safety, and security practices that respect our environment, meet requirements established by regulatory bodies, protect our employees, and align with company expectations.

　　Identifying and executing initiatives to deliver high service quality and on-time shipments to customers.

　　Developing strategic plans and budgets to drive continuous and sustainable improvements through the application of disruptive technology, lean six sigma methods, and effective employee engagement programs

　　Executing distribution and transportation strategies that optimize efficiency

　　Managing supply chain execution and inventory management to ensure appropriate supply chain performance through responsiveness, delivery performance, capacity management, supplier management, and inventory management.

　　Advocating for and supporting the community through active involvement and 3M representation in community affairs

　　Championing inclusive programs that create a great place to work for all our employees

　　Your Skills and Expertise

　　To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M is looking for candidates who must have the following qualifications:

　　Ten (10) years of experience in a private, public, government, or military environment in one or more of the following areas: quality, product/process/project engineering, logistics, or manufacturing

　　Minimum of five (5) years combined experience in management/supervisory roles in a manufacturing, distribution and/or supply chain environment

　　Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

　　Plant Director experience

　　Proven leadership track record of achieving operational objectives

　　Previous experience across multiple divisions, process technologies, distribution centers

　　Certified Lean Six Sigma BB or MBB

　　Proven track record of applying and deploying lean manufacturing principles and strategies to improve flow, lead time, and cost

　　Demonstrated strong communication skills

　　Proven resilient leader, who can adapt quickly and effectively prioritize and execute business plans

　　Proven track record of managing change effectively

　　Work location: On site - DeKalb, IL

　　Travel: Up to 10% international/domestic

　　Relocation: Is authorized

　　Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).

　　Applicable to US Applicants Only:The expected compensation range for this position is $251,462 - $307,343, which includes base pay plus variable incentive pay, if eligible. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, the candidate’s relevant knowledge, training, skills, work location, and/or experience.
