About the role:
As a member of the Global Marketing team you will report to the Global Head of Talent Marketing and partner with People, Corporate Communications and Marketing colleagues to ensure talent - both within the company today and future hires - engages with CBRE in meaningful, distinctive and innovative ways.
This job is part of the General Marketing job function. They are responsible for the design, development, and execution of marketing programs that support the organization's talent attraction, products and services.
What You’ll Do:
Talent Brand
Represent the voice of the employee influence the experiences and implement positioning for our talent brand to drive talent attraction and retention.
Ensure a global-to-local content and activation approach that suits a diversity of markets. Create globally relevant, coordinated employer brand campaigns to drive CBRE awareness with candidates.
Lead effort to integrate business, brand, culture and people elements to build a compelling, unified and clear brand story for employees and candidates.
In partnership with Comms, develop and maintain a robust content calendar sought at facilitating employee engagement.
Advocate for the employer brand across the organization and identify and engage employees to deliver compelling storytelling.
Proactively manage and measure CBRE’s position and reputation in the marketplace.
Ensure marketing materials follow company compliance, quality, and consistency standards. Supply marketing materials to digital library.
Review monthly and quarterly marketing reports and present findings to business partners.
Apply a robust knowledge of multiple subject areas, the business, and key drivers which impact departmental and cross-functional performance.
Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values. Persuade managers and other colleagues to take action while being guided by functional business plans. Work with external partners, vendors, and customers of divergent interests to reach a common goal.
Identify and solve multi-dimensional, sophisticated, operational, and organizational problems using the appropriate resources within or outside the department.
Significantly improve and changes existing methods, processes, and standards within job field.
Content
Interview employees on a variety of topics and translate that information into captivating stories.
Write and edit copy for talent marketing content including but not limited to newsletters, videos, infographics, blog posts, website content, landing pages, emails and social copy.
Tell CBRE’s employer brand story and create awareness through compelling messaging and leverage AI to assist in first draft of copy.

Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future.
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business or Communications with 10+ years of related experience. Relevant employer brand, employee communication or content marketing experience.
Experience creating globally relevant employer brand or communications campaigns launched internally and externally.
In-depth experience working on employee journeys from attraction through departure and bringing the brand to life in the moments that matter.
Experience working in a range of platforms from digital to video, and writing a range of content types, such as long copy, performance headlines, and social posts.
Impeccable spelling and grammar, and ability to adapt to voice and tone.
Ability to receive and integrate feedback from various stakeholders seamlessly into creative outputs.
Ability to communicate clearly, work practically, and do hard things well with speed and urgency.
Operate effectively in a lean, fluid and evolving team, with a bias for action.
Experience collaborating and working cross functionally in a highly matrixed organization with demonstrated ability to lead through influence.
Proven success with the development of strategic solutions for a multi-industry environment.
Excellent communication, organizational and complex problem-solving skills.
Advanced logical, critical thinking and quantitative skills.
Content samples will be requested.

New York City Residents: CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate’s education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for the Director, Global Employer Brand position is $150,000 annually and the maximum salary for the position is $180,000 annually. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience. Successful candidates will also be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on CBRE’s applicable benefit program.
