We are pleased to announce the opening for a Senior Enterprise Architect Engineer who will join our Digital Transformation, Acquisition, Modernization, and Modification (DTAMM) Program in Patrick Space Force Base (SFB), Florida and become part of our rapidly growing technology company operating in missile defense, cybersecurity, test range modernization, biotechnology, and space control marketspaces. You will be part of our DTAMM team known for directly supporting the modernization of the Launch and Test Range Systems (LTRS) located at the United States Space Force (USSF), Space Systems Command (SSC), Space Launch Delta (SLD) 30 Western Range (WR) Vandenberg Space Force Base (SFB), California (CA) and SLD 45 Eastern Range (ER) Patrick SFB, Florida (FL). Work is expected to be primarily done via Telework in reasonable proximity to the Patrick Space Force Base to enable on-site customer meetings and local team tag-up meetings as required.
Responsibilities:
You’ll be working with the DTAMM Program Manager, systems engineering, software, and hardware engineering team to develop a roadmap and implement approved modernization efforts within specified performance, cost, and schedule objectives to ensure a seamless transition of new technologies into the ranges.
Provides Enterprise Architecture (EA) expertise to translate an enterprises strategy into a future enterprise architecture and a transition plan (i.e. roadmap) to achieve that future state. Uses multi-disciplinary techniques, for example: business process decomposition and redesign, information engineering, organizational redesign, change management, IT strategy and architecture, and performance measurement, to assist in enterprise business transformation and EA implementation. Interacts at a variety of points within the enterprises governance process to assist in implementation of the transition plan, to include organizational strategy development, capital planning and investment control, portfolio and project management, systems development, and operations. Designs, develops, and maintains current and future views and data describing the enterprise architecture. Researches and advises on the selection of technologies to include within the enterprise architecture. Provides analyses of potential changes to the EA. Conducts reviews and analyses of architectures to ensure compliance with EA policy. Provides oversight for the development and maintenance of quality programs, systems, processes and procedures to ensure EA policy compliance or to improve the EA. Coordinates and collaborates with subject matter experts and other architects to reflect reengineered business processes into the EA. Defines, develops, and provides expertise and guidance on EA processes, policies, roles and responsibilities. General knowledge of other related disciplines. Receives assignments in the form of objectives and establishes goals to meet outlined objectives. Provides direction to employees according to established policies and management guidance. Work is reviewed by management to measure whether objectives have been met. Provides technical solutions to a wide range of difficult problems where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors. Solutions are imaginative, thorough, practicable and consistent with organization objectives.
Basic Qualifications:
You must have a Bachelors in and fourteen (14) years or more experience; Masters and twelve (12) years or more experience; PhD or JD and nine (9) years or more experience in a technical field such as Engineering.
Complete understanding and wide application of technical principles, theories, and concepts in the field and a general knowledge of other related disciplines.
Experience and expertise in the application of one or more common EA frameworks, such as FEAC, TOGAF, or DoDAF, as well as with common EA tools such as ARIS.
Ability to lead the analysis of user / mission needs and existing system capabilities and identify gaps.
Capability to apply innovative techniques in investigating solutions to system gaps, test needs or problems.
The capability to design hardware, software, network/database solutions, or architecture solutions.
Capability to work independently, participate on teams and lead a task, project or team while requiring minimal guidance and direction from more senior level staff.
You must possess or can obtain an active Secret clearance.

Preferred Qualifications:
Knowledge of the Eastern and Western range instrumentation, capabilities, and technologies.
Experience developing range or instrumentation road maps and modernization plans, based on reviewed trade studies, analyses of alternatives or similar technical studies.
Demonstrated mastery of EA engineering processes and practices, including Digital Transformation of legacy systems.
Demonstrated capability, across multiple programs, to develop technology modernization plans and manage from concept to implementation.
Experience effectively communicating at senior levels within an organization and meeting with stakeholders to formulate, review, and execute technical plans and produce deliverable items.
Experience developing roadmaps to transform legacy systems into a modern digital environment / executing digital transformation.
Experience in performing trade studies and analyses of alternatives to enhance enterprise capabilities.
Experience with development of short, medium, and long term solutions / visions / roadmaps.
