Summary:
Develops, implements, and oversees the administrative, financial, and operational informatics structure to support executive level strategy for clinical research program management for Roswell Park. Directs all priorities for the management of technical software systems supporting Roswell Park clinical research activities across the organization and makes recommendations to executive leaders for any IT needs to improve Roswell Park performance for Cancer Center Support Grant (CCSG), strategic and business excellence. Coordinates both internal and external research information technology teams to produce accurate and complete metrics for all grant submissions throughout the institute integrating data from institutional systems and data warehouses; facilitates the development of tools that leverage this data in support of the mission of Roswell Park and Clinical Research Services (CRS). Works closely with the VP and SVP of CRS and other institutional leaders; oversees personnel responsible for the Clinical Trial Management System (CTMS) and other systems to develop analytics to support executive level decision making; manages complex systems and makes independent decisions to support the overarching clinical research strategy of Roswell Park.
The salary range for this positon is $147,758- $185,851 annually which includes a comprehensive benefits package.
Qualifications:
Required Education and Experience
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or other science/technology related area and ten (10) years of full-time experience in a software development or software application and two (2) years in a supervisory, administrative, consultative, managerial, or executive capacity.
NOTE:
Required degrees must have been granted by an accredited college or university or one recognized by Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center as following acceptable educational practices.
