Technical Training Specialist in Springfield, MO

The Technical Training Specialist’s primary responsibilities will focus on coordinating departmental training activities, managing the training program, and improve performance.

In this role, you will:
Work with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to create job specific training. Utilize on-the-job, online, and classroom training. Incorporate all forms of electronic and traditional media.
Confer with supervisors and managers to determine skill gaps and training needs. Promote training consistency by educating those in supervisory and managerial positions.
Coordinate activities for the delivery of training to employees. Deliver training to incumbents, supervisors and managers. Schedule classes, based on availability of classrooms, equipment, and instructors.
Administer the Learning Management System.
Develop, maintain, and routinely evaluate training materials and incorporate changes.
Provide regular updates to the Springfield Leadership Team on training progress for assigned group and areas for improvement.
Evaluate trainee performance and progress.
Evaluate training effectiveness on a periodic basis.
Participate in self-development activities and training of others.
Exhibit safety awareness and safe work practices.
Qualifications and background to be successful in this role:
Required
High School Diploma or Equivalent
(1 or more years in a chemical or pharmaceutical manufacturing role).
Strong attention to detail and organization skills.
Ability to handle multiple projects and priorities in a professional and timely manner
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Ability to interact with all levels of personnel.
Ability to effectively present information in a clear manner, facilitate discussion, demonstrate procedures and respond to questions.
Computer and internet skills including Microsoft Office.
Preferred
Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field
Experience in previous training role is preferred
Experience in functional area of training is preferred
Experience in Pharma is preferred
Experience in GMP, FDA, DEA requirements preferred
