BayCare Healthcare System is introducing, the RN Bootcamp, an exciting opportunity for a Registered Nurse (RN)with no acute care/hospital experience or for nurses that have been away from the acute care setting for more than two years, to join our extraordinary team.

　　This opportunity is available to RNs with their most recent work experience in the following settings: home health care (HHC), assisted living facility (ALF), skilled nursing facility (SNF), physician practice, private duty, etc.

　　This is an accelerated 12-week program offered once a month. We are currently accepting applications for upcoming orientation date of March 18, 2024.

　　The Registered Nurse works in a hospital setting and independently cares for a group of patients consistently using the nursing process and clinical standards. Delegates appropriate patient care activities to other members of the health care team. The Registered Nurse is also responsible for professional accountability and development.

　　• The registered nurse collaborates and communicates with inter-disciplinary care providers in developing and assisting in plan of care.

　　• Organizes and prioritizes and updates plan of care in collaboration with patient, family, and significant others in the departments.

　　• Identifies patients at risk for injury regarding diagnosis, medication, procedure, age, etc., and prepares room environment.
