  Responsibilities This position is responsible for the oversight of the installment lending platforms and managing the Direct Loan Department. Additionally, this role performs oversight of the credit insurance claims function and will provide step-up, loan authority to all regions/departments bank-wide, and ensure compliance with operating policy and procedures along with external regulatory requirements.

  Provide leadership and management responsibilities for Direct Loan Administration along with Retail Lending ManagerPrepare and mainain direct lending policies and proceduresImplement strategic and adjustment in product line (i.e. recommend loan rates and develop product programs) to achieve goals assigned to the department as established in the bank's annual operating planAssist the development of the annual budget and adhere to the budget parametersProvide bank wide training on products, regulations, loan platform systems, and processess for all levels of lending personnelEnsure compliance to all consumer lending associated regulationsAssit with the Bank's GAP and VSI programsProvide direct over-site of the Special Review Process and personnel for targeted applicantsOversee CBNA employee loan approval and delivery function for all consumer loan productsWork with bank counsel and Risk Management to respond to Attorney General OC, CFPB and other customer-initiated complaintsProvide necessary consumer direct loan step-up for loan officers of all tiers bankwide, when applicable, ensuring satisfactory credit guidelines are followedManage the credit reporting function and be the liaison with the four credit bureau repositoriesMaintain and assure a strong working relationship with each affiliateWork in unison with Loan Operations to ensure the integrity of data provided to the bureausMake decisions, when action is require, on consumer credit disputesManage consumer file pricing for each affiliateManage the retail credit insurance program through NYBA for all consumer loan productsEnsure accurate premium calculations occur within the EZ Lender SystemEnsure proper documentation is maintained with document providersManage credit insurance claim process including customer disputesProvide product knowledge based training to all consumer loan officers and support staffOversee changes in policy and procedure regarding premium price structure or product enhancementsDirectly supervise assigned personalMake provisions for the proper orientation and training of personnel and assist with the selection of new personnelReview employee performance Organize, schedule and distribute work amoung personnelKeep staff informed of pertinent policies and procedures affecting the department and their positionsCreate an atmosphere in which upward communication is encouragedConduct regular staff meetingsCommunicate with upper level management and other department leaders as requiredProvide periodic reports to upper management and other department heads as required throughout the DIR-LoanMgrMaintain proficient knowledge of, and demonstrate ongoing compliance with all laws and regulations applicable to this position, ensure ongoing adherence to pertinent policies, procedures and internal controls, and meet all job-specific requirements in a timely fashion

  QualificationsEducation, Training and Requirements:

  Associates Degree in finance or related field requiredBachelor's Degree preferredSkills:

  Strong math, computer, communicative and interpersonal skillsAbility to create, implement, adjust and maintain workflows based on bank guidelines and regulationsHighly organized; results driven with competency to meet demands of proficiency and efficiencyMust be collaborative as well as have the ability to adapt and reprioritizeMust be able to consistently demonstrate the Company's core values; a strong work ethic, integrity, respect for others, responsibility, transparency and humilityExperience:

  Minimum of five (5) years' of lending experience required

  Other Job InformationHours: Monday - Friday; 8:00-4:30; some nights and weekends may be required

  Compensation: Commensurate with experience plus potential for annual merit increase.
