　　The Digital Specification Technology Specialist will own daily management, and standardization of Zurn Elkay's digital specification toolset. This individual will develop best practices and recommend improvements that aide Zurn Elkay customers in their specification journey. Reporting to Manager, Data Syndication and Digital Content, this role works closely with engineering, sales, product management, and externally with customers and vendors.

　　Proactively manage and coordinate product data updates through digital specification platforms, ensuring product catalog and attribution are completed and accurate with KPI tracking.

　　Manage and update data standards based on platform and field specification trends/feedback.

　　Map customer required data attributes to Zurn Elkay internal attributes in PIM, creating custom functions as required, for dynamic, on-demand data delivery to specification platforms.

　　Develop the workflow best practices and tools, oversee the daily specifications writing and maintenance.

　　Develop cross-functional relationships with engineering, sales, product management, customers, and vendors.

　　Monitor relevant KPIs for spec share, and basis of design to align our goals with ROI.

　　Analyze data from customer reporting tools to identify trends, recommend platform improvements, and coordinate efforts with the field specification team.

　　Research, evaluate and recommend emerging specification best practices and tools.

　　Assist Regional Specification Leaders in developing and maintaining master specification documents.

　　Design, manage and analyze category plans for Digital Specification with product management.

　　QUALIFICATIONS

　　Bachelor’s degree required

　　5+ years of relevant work experience within engineering, sales or product management in the manufacturing or matrix environment required

　　Experience specifying with an engineer or architectural firm strongly preferred

　　Experience with digital specification platforms required: BIMObject, BSD, SpecLink, Dodge Sweets, BlueBeam, Stratus, MasterSpec/Delteck SpecPoint, Trimble

　　Prior experience or knowledge of commercial plumbing products, or building materials preferred

　　Strong project management experience, delivering complex sets of information to a scheduled deadline, with high attention to detail.

　　Highly organized, mature problem-solving skills with sharp business acumen and ability to assimilate data and recommend next steps for continuous improvement.

　　Strong attention to detail, and a passion for ensuring accurate and complete product data.

　　Proactive, energetic and goal driven with a desire to grow career through innovation.

　　Strong Microsoft Excel skills (filters, pivot, text to column, formulas, etc.).

　　Understanding of the trends, needs, innovations, and pace of Digital Specification.

　　Excellent verbal, interpersonal and written communication skills.

　　Ability to influence and foster cross-functional teams without formal authority, at all levels.

　　Highly motivated with strong initiative and a hands-on approach to accomplishing goals.

　　Able to travel approximately 20% of time
