　　Position Summary:

　　The Nutrition Retail Associate will provide routine food preparation and patient assistance services in a variety of assigned eating area(s), meal service, catering or events. In addition the Nutrition Retail Associate will perform retail cash handling, deposits, change order, maintaining department statistics for sales and volumes and requisition orders.

　　Minimum Qualifications:

　　Preferred: High School Diploma or Equivalent

　　Preferred: ServSafe Certification

　　Preferred: 1 year barista experience

　　Essential Job Functions:

　　Performs cash handling procedures. Prepares cash deposits, change order and enters statistical data.

　　Participates in requisition order fulfillment, delivery and billing.

　　Prepares and serves drinks and foods according to patient specifications, including therapeutic diet orders, patient safety modifications and proper patient identification

　　Records patients 'Intakes' including nutrient specific intakes accurately per established procedures.

　　Provides menu information and explanations of ingredients and preparation methods as assigned.

　　Assists with food preparation as directed, operating food production equipment as required to complete tasks.

　　Arranges table settings and folds napkins as directed.

　　Clears, cleans, and sanitizes tables.

　　Maintains, cleans, and sanitizes work stations.

　　Cleans and sanitizes dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and other containers and returns to appropriate location in the kitchen area.

　　Refills condiments or other food and supplies.

　　Follows all safety and sanitation guidelines and regulations to ensure quality food service.

　　Performs other related duties as assigned.

　　Demonstrates sound judgement, patience, and maintains a professional demeanor at all times

　　Ability to work in a busy and stressful environment

　　Ability to work varied shifts

　　Detail oriented, organizational skills and the ability to prioritize
