Global Real Estate and Workplace (GRW) is a department within The Coca-Cola Company (TCCC). We plan, build, and operate TCCC's global workplaces and create state-of-the-art environments and experiences that engage our people, accelerate business growth, spark innovation, and bring our brands to life in the workplace. We are responsible for cost effectively and collaboratively delivering workplace and real estate solutions worldwide.
The Sustainability Intern role will report to the Sr Director of Workplace Experience, Performance and Data and support the development and delivery of multiple initiatives focused on environmental sustainability. Initiatives will include, but are not limited to:
Atlanta Office Complex (AOC): Document past activities supporting sustainability that have been completed at the AOC. In addition, through conversations with stakeholders, gather opportunities for reducing our footprint across the multiple buildings that make up the AOC. Create business cases for each and prioritize actions. And finally, project manage discreet assignments on campus specific to sustainability.
Advancing Strategy: Participate in strategy sessions on TCCC's approach to sustainability in the workplace and share your expertise as we refine our framework and approach.
Data Collection: document and validate the sources for energy/water/waste data across our global portfolio and create tracking logs for the past 5 years of annual performance. This data will set our baselines and the creation of performance targets.
This role is responsible for gathering critical data to support our success and will manage multiple projects at once.

What you'll do as a part of this team:
As a Sustainability Intern, you will collaborate with multiple members of the GRW team as you gather performance data from around the world. You will also work with many stakeholders at the AOC to understand their points of view on opportunities to reduce our environmental footprint. You will then use this information to create business cases and prioritize the initiatives accordingly.
Critical Responsibilities of the Work:
Be a great listener. This role will require asking questions and listening to identify the big opportunities we have in front of us.
Be accountable. This role will require you to take responsibility for specific tasks from start to finish. To be successful you'll need to complete the due diligence to understand the history and strategy, use this to inform the approach, and then execute. It will be a balance of knowing when to raise your hand for support and having the ability to drive work forward as an individual contributor.
Collaborate well in person and over video conference. Although most work will be done in person at the AOC campus, we use Teams video conferences for many meetings.
Have fun with the team. We work hard, but value having fun while doing it.
Qualifications We are Looking for:
Currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Sustainability, Environmental Engineering, or an environmentally focused major with a final graduation date no earlier than December 2024.
Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office tools including: Outlook, Excel and Power Point
Excellent oral/written communication skills and extreme attention to detail
Collaborative team player
Ability to develop presentations and business cases that effectively communicate the opportunity and recommendations to achieve objectives.

While work will be hybrid in nature, location should Metro Atlanta area as there will be in person meetings at the Atlanta TCCC Headquarters (AOC).
