Summary:
For our Commercial Team we are looking for a Digital intelligence Manager who will directly report to the Solution Selling Manager in Italy. He/she will be part of the Italian Xylem VUE and will have a key role in demonstrating the technical benefits of our digital products and platform. He/she will have a strategic role into our commercial process and be responsible for coordinating answers to public tenders.
Responsibilities:
He/she will positively represent Xylem digital solutions in a variety of settings
He/she will attend marketing events, technical days
He/she will present Xylem digital solution and platform using some demonstration environment
He/she will be the link between Xylem digital experts of a given solution and the customer in a context of a commercial development or tender process;
He/she will present and perform demonstrations of digital solution/platform in front of small/medium/large groups of people, adapting the speech to the level of the audience
He/she will support the Italian commercial team providing information on a product or service
Will analyze tender documents to understand the needs of the client
Will plan bid preparation and meeting deadlines
Will liaise with Xylem internal BUs or partners to agree on bid details
Will prepare case studies and other reference materials
Will edit previous tenders to reuse relevant material
Will collect materials provided by various departments and ensuring a uniform tone across the overall document
Will ensure bidding documents are accurate and delivered on time.
Minimum Qualifications :
Minimum 5 years’ experience on digital solutions applied to the water sector (drinking water, wastewater, treatment, asset management, operational analytics);
Experience on hydraulic modelling: model build and model calibration, preferably experience on real-time modelling;
Engineering experience on drinking water networks, i.e. DMA creation, pressure management, monitoring, etc.
Understanding of Asset Management Planning (AMP) activities for water networks
Were involved directly or indirectly in a sales organization of digital solutions in Italy or abroad;
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience as water supply operator/asset planner in a public utility;
Experience in public tendering procedures
Development of solution architectures that touches Digital solutions including evaluation, selection and integration of necessary technical components
Direct or indirect experience in SAAS sales
Soft Skills:
Customer oriented
Strong sales mindset
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
Fluency in Italian and English in required
Be thorough and pay attention to details
Administration skills
CONTRACT: full time, permanent
LOCATION: Lainate (MI)
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS: mainly in Italy
