Role Objective : Biolage is looking to evolve how the brand delivers Pro-facing, Stylist education and radically increase reliance and investment in digital education. The Digital Education Manager (DEM) will help set the strategy, touch points and digital education content necessary to deliver Biolage growth objectives in terms of annual net sales and strengthen of Biolage brand position within the Pro/stylist community.
Job Responsibilities
SalonCentric FB Lives - Collaborate w/ SalonCentric & Marketing on FB Lives. DEM helps develop content, confirms, and books Artists, and acts as POC for Artists/Ambassadors.
SalonCentric Pro Beauty Central – Develops Learning Tracks and Pro Beauty Central content based on Marketing priorities while ensuring the pro lens is present in all materials. Briefs free-lance journalist and manages content development process from start to finish, ensuring all deadlines are met.
Social Content – Work with Marketing Team, and artistic network to develop enagaging pro-facing social content that bring brand priorities to life and drive brand desirability within the stylist community.
Complimentary Live streaming Calendar -- Development and execution of brand complimentary live streaming weekly education strategy . Build ongoing digital calendar to support brand initiatives/launches at least 90+ days out for the entire year.
In collaboration with marketing, street & store – Identify program, content, artist/brand ambassador , secure Artist, provide tile images, artist bio/headshot for websites
Create promotional assets (flyers + Social Assets) to promote these virtual classes
Provide overall budget for the digital education plan for the year to AVP PPD Store + AVP Field Education for allocated funding
Deploy live stream calendar to all channels every quarter
Level Loyalty – ensure Level Loyalty site is updated with latest Biolage education content, class tiles.
Training & Events –
Collaborate with Marketing to create digital education content for US social & partner platforms & CRM. DEM manages Artist's booking and content and content release agreement. Product shipment to Artist
Support Biolage education events by working to secure support artists as needed.
Ensure Biolage Artists are fully knowledgeable and trained on launches, products, and key initiatives through Digital Assets Communication, support materials & resources.
Lead Monthly Artist Connect call, create digital newsletter/training calendar, manage Biolage Artist private FB group page.
Create monthly education videos for field sales teams (Stores, Street, Beauty Gurus) to support launches/initiatives. Manage, confirm artist, capture, and edit the training video. Manage the logistical needs, deploys supplies to artists
Social Analytics – Track the social impact of Artist Network i.e. product launches, events, Beauty Gurus. Analyze and monthly reporting with recommendations and calls to action; provide debrief of all activities to SVP
Other – Monitor competitive digital education offerings to ensure we are offering best-in-class virtual Education. Act as a quick reference for Marketing
ACCESS Develop & support the growth of ACCESS, including communicating country needs to DMI, localizing DMI content, creating US modules, managing platform enrollments, learning paths for all distribution (schools, new hire, stylist-salons, and sales ), and reporting.
What We Are Looking For:
Required Qualifications:
Cosmetology Degree/licensed stylist.
Strong understanding of the Beauty Industry
Passion for social media and all things digital
Proactive and results oriented thinker who would flourish in an entrepreneurial environment
Proficiency in MS Word and PowerPoint programs.
Communicates clearly and succinctly in both oral and written forms
Ability to translate product initiatives into relevant, Pro-facing brand educational and social moments
Ability to collaboratively work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
Must demonstrate strong critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
Must be skilled at executing within tight timeframes with attention to detail and accuracy
Highly organized with proven multi-tasking and project management skills

Salary range: $100,400- $143,000
