　　The Role

　　We are seeking a DevOps Engineer to join a new team based in Ireland. You will focus enabling the delivery of end-to-end applications and infrastructure solutions safely and at high velocity.

　　The successful candidate has technical depth and hands-on implementation experience of various practices and tools in the DevOps toolchain. The DevOps Engineer is comfortable rolling up their sleeves to design and code modules for infrastructure, application and processes.

　　Your Day to Day

　　Design and maintain highly available and robust infrastructure services that increases productivity

　　Maintain quality of code, up-to-date documentation, and a high degree of ownership

　　Work in a dynamic environment and respond to interrupts in a timely manner

　　Provide escalation support for infrastructure platforms running in production

　　Provide mentoring to others with the team and the larger Operations organization

　　Must be able to participate in 24x7 weekly rotation alert schedule

　　What You Bring to the Team

　　Preferably you’ll have DevOps experience working in a SaaS environment

　　Cloud environment experience working with AWS

　　Experience working with a configuration management and automation system (Ansible Preferred)

　　Experience in Linux systems administration and/or engineering

　　Databases technologies experience (RDS, MySQL/MariaDB, MongoDB)

　　Prior experience with application containerization and container ecosystems using Docker and Kubernetes

　　Hands-on experience with mainline programming and scripting languages such as Bash, Shell, Python, Perl

　　Knowledge of version control source code repositories (Git)

　　Hands-on experience with building and managing release systems, code merging and promotion, and CI/CD workflows and tools (Jenkins/Ansible)

　　Understanding of microservices and distributed application architecture

　　Experience working with and delivering in an Agile environment

　　Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate core DevOps concepts (CI/CD, Agile & Automation)

　　Beneficial Experience

　　Understanding of information security concepts and technologies such as IDS, VPN, Splunk, and Firewalls

　　Experience with GCP
